Anti-epoxide hydrolase 3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the EPHX3 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 360 amino acid residues and a mass of 40.9 kDa. A member of the Epoxide hydrolase protein family, it is known to catalyze the hydrolysis of epoxide-containing fatty acids. Other names for this target antigen include abhydrolase domain containing 9 and abhydrolase domain-containing protein 9.
