Antennapedia antibodies are immunological tools used to detect the drosophila Hox gene, also known as Antp. The encoded protein, ‘homeotic protein antennapedia,’ is a transcription factor that functions as part of a developmental regulatory system regulating mesothorax formation. Functional antennapedia alleles convert ectopic antennae into legs while loss-of-function mutations result in the development of legs instead of antennae. Antennapedia antibodies can be used for Western blot, immunohistochemistry and ELISA kits. Visit the supplier page to know more about reactivity, conjugate/tag and clonality.
