Anti-CTRB2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chymotrypsinogen B2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 263 amino acid residues and a mass of 27.9 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. A member of the Peptidase S1 protein family, CTRB2 is known to be involved with proteolysis. Synonyms for this target antigen include chymotrypsin B2. CTRB2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and rat species. Western Blot is the most common application for the CTRB2 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
