Anti-GON4L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein gon-4 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 2241 amino acid residues and a mass of 248.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. GON4L is known to have transcriptional repressor activity, probably as part of a complex with YY1, SIN3A and HDAC1. Synonyms for this target antigen include GON4, YARP, GON-4-like protein, 2610100B20Rik, YY1AP related protein, and GON-4. GON4L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the GON4L antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
