Anti-C11orf42 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromosome 11 open reading frame 42. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 333 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.4 kDa. It is notably expressed in the testis. Synonyms for this target antigen include uncharacterized protein C11orf42. C11orf42 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. These C11orf42 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
