Anti-OR5M11 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 5 subfamily M member 11. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 305 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR5M11 is known to be involved with GPCR signaling pathways and the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 5M11 and olfactory receptor OR11-199 pseudogene. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR5M11 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
