Anti-Rock 1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Rock 1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ROCK1 gene, which encodes Rho associated coiled-coil containing protein kinase 1. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization, among other biological roles. The human version of Rock 1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1354 residues and a protein mass of 158.2 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Rock 1 is a member of the AGC Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the Rock 1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
