Anti-ZMYM5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger MYM-type containing 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 669 amino acid residues and a mass of 74.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. ZMYM5 is known to function as a transcriptional regulator. Synonyms for this target antigen include MYM, ZNF198L1, ZNF237, zinc finger MYM-type protein 5, zinc finger protein 198-like 1, and HSPC050. ZMYM5 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the ZMYM5 antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
