Anti-OMA1 zinc metallopeptidase antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene OMA1 in humans. The gene may also be known as MPRP-1, 2010001O09Rik, DAB1, MPRP1, metalloendopeptidase OMA1, mitochondrial, and OMA1 homolog, zinc metallopeptidase. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 60.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, yeast, plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
