Lysophospholipase 1, or Lysophospholipase I, is a human gene encoded by LYPLA1. It may also be known as: Acyl-protein thioesterase 1; APT-1; hAPT1; LPL-I; LysoPLA I; APT1; LPL1. The encoded protein is an enzyme with an amino acid length of 230 and a mass of 24.7 kDa. Lysophospholipase 1 is a member of the AB hydrolase superfamily, AB hydrolase 2 family. Homologs of this gene exist in other organisms, including: Mouse, Rat, Zebrafish, Frog, Chicken.
