Anti-IFIT1B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein interferon induced protein with tetratricopeptide repeats 1B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 474 amino acid residues and a mass of 55 kDa. It is notably expressed in the bone marrow. A member of the IFIT protein family, IFIT1B is known to be involved with viral immune response. Synonyms for this target antigen include interferon-induced protein with tetratricopeptide repeats 1-like protein. IFIT1B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and chimpanzee species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the IFIT1B antibodies listed below. Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
