Anti-PP32 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PP32 antigen is another term for the human protein acidic nuclear phosphoprotein 32 family member A, encoded by the ANP32A gene. The protein is reported to be a multifunctional protein that is involved in the regulation of many processes including tumor suppression, apoptosis, cell cycle progression or transcription. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 249 residues and a mass of 28.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm and it is reported to be expressed in all tissues tested. The PP32 protein is a member of the ANP32 protein family. Other alias names for PP32 include C15orf1, HPPCn, and I1PP2A. Some PP32 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
