Anti-PABPN1L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein PABPN1 like, cytoplasmic. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 278 amino acid residues and a mass of 30.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in various adult tissues. PABPN1L is known to bind the poly(A) tail of mRNA. Synonyms for this target antigen include ePABP-2, embryonic poly(A)-binding protein 2, embryonic poly(A)-binding protein type II, poly(A) binding protein nuclear 1 like, cytoplasmic, and embryonic polyadenylate-binding protein 2. PABPN1L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for PABPN1L antibodies.
