Anti-SRPK3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein SRSF protein kinase 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 567 amino acid residues and a mass of 62 kDa. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in skeletal and heart muscle. A member of the CMGC Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family, SRPK3 is known to be involved with cell differentiation and intracellular signal transduction. Synonyms for this target antigen include MSSK1, STK23, SFRS protein kinase 3, SR-protein-specific kinase 3, muscle-specific serine kinase 1, and MSSK-1. SRPK3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the SRPK3 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
