Anti-TRM61 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TRM61 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TRMT61A gene, which encodes tRNA methyltransferase 61A. This protein is a known catalytic subunit of tRNA (adenine-N(1)-)-methyltransferase, which catalyzes the formation of N(1)-methyladenine at position 58 (m1A58) in initiator methionyl-tRNA. The human version of TRM61 has a canonical amino acid length of 289 residues and a protein mass of 31.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. TRM61 is a member of the TRM61 protein family.
