Anti-ECT2L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein epithelial cell transforming 2 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 904 amino acid residues and a mass of 104.9 kDa. ECT2L is believed to act as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF). Synonyms for this target antigen include ECT2-like, F-box protein 49, lung specific F-box and DH domain containing protein, putative guanine nucleotide exchange factor LFDH, and epithelial cell-transforming sequence 2 oncogene-like. ECT2L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the ECT2L antibodies listed below. ELISA and Western Blot are also common applications.
