Anti-NEUROG1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein neurogenin 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 237 amino acid residues and a mass of 25.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. NEUROG1 is known to act as a transcriptional regulator. Synonyms for this target antigen include Math4C, NEUROD3, bHLHa6, ngn1, NGN-1, and AKA. NEUROG1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of NEUROG1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
