Anti-TMEM229A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 229A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 380 amino acid residues and a mass of 42.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is a member of the TMEM229 protein family. TMEM229A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Some TMEM229A antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
