Anti-G antigen 5 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the GAGE5 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 117 amino acid residues and a mass of 12.9 kDa. It is reported to be expressed in a variety of tumor tissues but not in normal tissues, except testis. It is a member of the GAGE protein family. Other names for this target antigen include cancer/testis antigen 4.5, cancer/testis antigen family 4, member 5, and CT4.5. Indicated applications for G antigen 5 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence.
