Anti-RDH10 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein retinol dehydrogenase 10. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 341 amino acid residues and a mass of 38.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. It is notably expressed in retina, kidney, liver, small intestine, placenta, lung, heart and skeletal muscle. A member of the Short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR) protein family, RDH10 is known to be involved with in utero embryonic development. Synonyms for this target antigen include retinol dehydrogenase 10 (all-trans) and short chain dehydrogenase/reductase family 16C member 4. RDH10 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species.
