Anti-SIAH3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein siah E3 ubiquitin protein ligase family member 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 269 amino acid residues and a mass of 30.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. A member of the SINA (Seven in absentia) protein family, SIAH3 is a reported regulator of PRKN translocation to damaged mitochondria. Synonyms for this target antigen include seven in absentia homolog 3. SIAH3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some SIAH3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
