Anti-LICOS antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The LICOS antigen is another term for the human protein inducible T cell costimulator ligand, encoded by the ICOSLG gene. The protein is known to be the ligand for the T-cell-specific cell surface receptor ICOS. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 302 residues and a mass of 33.3 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The LICOS protein is a member of the BTN/MOG protein family. Other alias names for LICOS include B7-H2, B7H2, and B7RP-1.
