Anti-CKAPI antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CKAPI antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TBCB gene, which encodes tubulin folding cofactor B. This protein is known to function in cell differentiation and nervous system development, among other biological roles. The human version of CKAPI has a canonical amino acid length of 244 residues and a protein mass of 27.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CG22 and CKAP1. Indicated applications for CKAPI antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
