Anti-Mast Cell Tryptase antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene TPSD1, or 'tryptase delta 1' in humans. The 242-amino acid protein is a member of the Peptidase S1 family, Tryptase subfamily. The cellular localization is predicted to be secreted. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
