Anti-LPPR2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LPPR2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PLPPR2 gene, which encodes phospholipid phosphatase related 2. This protein is known to function in the metabolism of lipids and signal transduction pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of LPPR2 has a canonical amino acid length of 343 residues and a protein mass of 36.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. LPPR2 is a member of the PA-phosphatase related phosphoesterase protein family.
