Anti-HEATR5A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein HEAT repeat containing 5A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 2040 amino acid residues and a mass of 222 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the HEATR5 protein family, HEATR5A is known to be involved with endocytosis and protein localization. Synonyms for this target antigen include p200b, HEAT repeat-containing protein 5A, and C14orf125. HEATR5A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for the Heatr5a antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunocytochemistry is also a common application.
