Anti-FILIP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein filamin A interacting protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1213 amino acid residues and a mass of 138.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in adult heart and brain. It is a member of the FILIP1 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include FILIP. FILIP1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA is a widely used application for the Filip1 antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
