Anti-C/EBP-epsilon antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The C/EBP-epsilon antigen is another term for the human protein CCAAT enhancer binding protein epsilon, encoded by the CEBPE gene. The protein is known to function in the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides and granulocyte differentiation, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 281 residues and a mass of 30.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is expressed in the bone marrow and testis. The C/EBP-epsilon protein is a member of the BZIP protein family. Other alias names for C/EBP-epsilon include CRP1.
