Anti-Fbx2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Fbx2 is a known alias name of the protein F-box protein 2, encoded by the FBXO2 gene in humans. This 296-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a substrate recognition component of a SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex that mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. It is localized to the membrane and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in the hippocampus, cerebral cortex, and caudate. Other synonyms for Fbx2 include FBG1 and Fbs1. Indicated applications for Fbx2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
