Anti-PHTF2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein putative homeodomain transcription factor 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 785 amino acid residues and a mass of 88.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 7 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein PHTF2. PHTF2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for PHTF2 antibodies.
