Anti-CHSY2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CHSY2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CHSY3 gene, which encodes chondroitin sulfate synthase 3. This protein is known to have both beta-1,3-glucuronic acid and beta-1,4-N-acetylgalactosamine transferase activity. The human version of CHSY2 has a canonical amino acid length of 882 residues and a protein mass of 100.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi of cells. CHSY2 is a member of the Chondroitin N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase protein family.
