Anti-CYYR1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cysteine and tyrosine rich 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 154 amino acid residues and a mass of 16.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 6 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. It is a member of the CYYR1 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include cysteine/tyrosine-rich 1, proline-rich domain-containing protein, and cysteine and tyrosine-rich protein 1. CYYR1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the CYYR1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Western Blot are also common applications.
