Anti-C1orf53 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromosome 1 open reading frame 53. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 145 amino acid residues and a mass of 15.5 kDa. It is reported to be expressed in retina and retinoblastoma. Synonyms for this target antigen include uncharacterized protein C1orf53. C1orf53 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the C1orf53 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
