Anti-ADIP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ADIP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SSX2IP gene, which encodes SSX family member 2 interacting protein. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion and cilium assembly, among other biological roles. The human version of ADIP has a canonical amino acid length of 614 residues and a protein mass of 71.2 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus, cell junctions, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. ADIP is a member of the ADIP protein family. Indicated applications for ADIP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
