Anti-FetuinA antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target FetuinA is a known alias name of the protein alpha 2-HS glycoprotein, encoded by the AHSG gene in humans. This 367-amino acid residue protein is reported to promote endocytosis, possesses opsonic properties and influences the mineral phase of bone. The protein is secreted and features O-glycosylated, N-glycosylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for FetuinA include A2HS, AHS, and APMR1. Western Blot is the most common application for the FetuinA antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
