Anti-C/EBP-delta antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The C/EBP-delta antigen is another term for the human protein CCAAT enhancer binding protein delta, encoded by the CEBPD gene. The protein is reported to be a transcription activator that recognizes two different DNA motifs: the CCAAT homology common to many promoters and the enhanced core homology common to many enhancers. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 269 residues and a mass of 28.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. The C/EBP-delta protein is a member of the BZIP protein family. Other alias names for C/EBP-delta include CELF and CRP3. Western Blot is a widely used application for the C/EBP-delta antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
