Anti-OR8H3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 8 subfamily H member 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 312 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR8H3 is known to be involved with GPCR signaling pathways and the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 8H3 and olfactory receptor OR11-172. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for the OR8H3 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
