Anti-OR1E1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 1 subfamily E member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 314 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR1E1 is known to be involved with the sensory perception of smell and signal transduction pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include OR13-66, OR17-2, OR17-32, OR1E5, OR1E6, OR1E8P, OR1E9P, and HGM071. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR1E1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
