Anti-MUC3B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein mucin 3B, cell surface associated. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1237 amino acid residues and a mass of 131.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Post-translational modifications have been described, including O-glycosylation and N-glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include intestinal mucin MUC3B, intestinal mucin-3B, and mucin-3B. Western Blot is the most common application for the MUC3B antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
