Anti-UCK1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein uridine-cytidine kinase 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 277 amino acid residues and a mass of 31.4 kDa. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. A member of the Uridine kinase protein family, UCK1 is known to be involved with protein phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include cytidine monophosphokinase 1 and uridine monophosphokinase 1. UCK1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the UCK1 antibodies listed below. Flow Cytometry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
