Anti-PSTK antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein phosphoseryl-tRNA kinase. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 348 amino acid residues and a mass of 39.5 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the L-seryl-tRNA(Sec) kinase protein family, PSTK is known to be involved with protein phosphorylation and protein translation. Synonyms for this target antigen include L-seryl-tRNA(Sec) kinase and O-phosphoseryl-tRNA(Sec) kinase. PSTK gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the PSTK antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
