Anti-PDGFA associated protein 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PDAP1 in humans. The gene may also be known as HASPP28, PAP, PAP1, 28 kDa heat- and acid-stable phosphoprotein, and PDGF-associated protein. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 20.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
