Anti-Histidine rich glycoprotein antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene HRG in humans. The gene may also be known as HPRG, HRGP, THPH11, and histidine-proline-rich glycoprotein. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 59.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
