Anti-USP12 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ubiquitin specific peptidase 12. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 370 amino acid residues and a mass of 42.9 kDa. A member of the Peptidase C19 protein family, USP12 is known to be involved with protein deubiquitination. Synonyms for this target antigen include deubiquitinating enzyme 12, ubiquitin specific protease 12 like 1, ubiquitin thioesterase 12, ubiquitin thiolesterase 12, and ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 12. USP12 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some USP12 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
