Anti-VSIG1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein V-set and immunoglobulin domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 387 amino acid residues and a mass of 41.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the urinary bladder, testis, stomach, gallbladder, and duodenum. Post-translational modifications have been described, including N-glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include cell surface A33 antigen, glycoprotein A34, and V-set and immunoglobulin domain-containing protein 1. VSIG1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some VSIG1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
