Anti-ZYG11A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zyg-11 family member A, cell cycle regulator. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 759 amino acid residues and a mass of 85.8 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Zyg-11 protein family, ZYG11A is suspected to be acts as target recruitment subunit in an E3 ubiquitin ligase complex ZYGA-CUL2-elongin BC. Synonyms for this target antigen include ZYG-11A early embryogenesis protein, zyg-11 homolog A, and protein zyg-11 homolog A. ZYG11A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the ZYG11A antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
