Anti-TRPC7 Antibody Products

Anti-TRPC7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily C member 7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 862 amino acid residues and a mass of 99.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cell membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the Transient receptor (TC 1.A.4) protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation and glycosylation.

The TRPC7 marker can be used to identify Gray Matter MGE Interneurons and Midbrain-Derived Inhibitory Neurons.* Synonyms for this target antigen include likley ortholog of mouse transient receptor potential cation channel, subfamily C, member 7, putative capacitative calcium channel, transient receptor protein 7, and short transient receptor potential channel 7. TRPC7 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of TRPC7 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
