Anti-SOX30 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein SRY-box transcription factor 30. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 753 amino acid residues and a mass of 81.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the testis. SOX30 is known to act as both a transcriptional activator and repressor. Synonyms for this target antigen include SRY (sex determining region Y)-box 30, SRY-box 30, Sox30 protein type II, and transcription factor SOX-30. SOX30 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of SOX30 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunofluorescence is also a common application.
