Anti-SOCS4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein suppressor of cytokine signaling 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 440 amino acid residues and a mass of 50.6 kDa. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bone marrow, vagina, and appendix. SOCS4 is known to be involved with intracellular signal transduction and protein ubiquitination. Synonyms for this target antigen include SH2 domain containing SOCS box protein and SOCS-7. SOCS4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of SOCS4 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
