Anti-Tm7sf4 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Tm7sf4 is a known alias name of the protein dendrocyte expressed seven transmembrane protein, encoded by the DCSTAMP gene in humans. This 470-amino acid residue protein is a suspected cell surface receptor that plays several roles in cellular fusion, cell differentiation, bone and immune homeostasis. It is localized to the ER and cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications.
